‘Friends’ Star Joins Cast Of ‘Great British Baking Show’

Actor David Schwimmer Is putting his apron on and heading into the famous Great British Baking Show tent!

It was recently announced that a beloved “Friends” actor will compete in The Great Stand Up to Cancer Bake Off. 56-year-old star David Schwimmer will appear in the spinoff of the beloved series, The Great British Baking Show.

In total, 20 celebrities will star on the show. Some of the cast includes Olympian Tom Daley, former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson and Bridget Jones actress Jessica Hynes. But, Schwimmer’s appearance is arguably the one most fans of the show are talking about.

“Say hello to our baking friends. Meet the stars hitting the Bake Off Tent to raise some dough for a very special cause! The Great Stand Up To Cancer Bake Off. Coming soon to @Channel4. #GBBO,” read the post.

The new season will air on Sunday evenings in the UK starting on March 19. David Schwimmer will appear in the Baking Show spinoff season premiere alongside Rose Matafeo, Jesy Nelson and Tom Davis. It’s unclear if the series will be available for viewing in the United States.

David Schwimmer is an American actor and director. He is best known for his role as Ross Geller on the popular TV show “Friends.” The show ran for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004.
